Do I Qualify For the Ford Drives U College Student Purchase Program?
To qualify for the college student purchase program, you need to fit into one of the following categories:
- Active College or Trade School Student: Student is enrolled full-time or at least half-time in an accredited four-year college, junior college, community college or trade school.
- Active Graduate Students: Student is currently enrolled in accredited graduate school program
- Recent College Graduates: Student graduated less than three years ago. For example, if a student graduates in May of 2017, they will be eligible until May of 2020.
- High School Seniors or Recent High School Graduates That Intend to Attend Qualifying University: Students who meet all requirements for graduation and have a letter of intent to attend a qualified university.
- College Student Internship Participants, Trade School Apprenticeships and Medical Student Residencies Qualify with Following Restrictions: Student has attended or will attend college classes again between May 1, 2015 and January 2, 2019..
To be eligible for the College Student Purchase program, you'll need proof of full-time or half-time enrollment, or proof of prior or future enrollment like the examples below.
- Copy of College Diploma
- Copy of Final Transcript
- Letter from College or University Registrar's office stating conferred graduation date and type of degree earned
- Dated letter of intent confirming enrollment
