Exterior (Trims)

There are four 2020 Fusion models to tantalize your interest in choosing a good-looking sedan with either all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive. The regular trims include the S, SE, SEL, and the Titanium. New for 2020 are three additions to the color palette. These include Alto Blue Metallic, Rapid Red Metallic, and Iconic Silver.

If you’re interested in a hybrid, the Fusion is available as an SE, SEL, and Titanium, and as a Plug-in Hybrid for the Titanium trim.

Power and Performance

Depending on the trim, three engines are available. The Fusion S comes equipped with the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a six-speed automatic transmission. The engine has plenty of get-up-and-go with 175 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque.

The SE and SEL trims are fitted with a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine getting 181 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque, and the Titanium comes standard with a 2.0-liter engine producing 245 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque.

The Fusion has a competitive fuel economy with an EPA rating of 31 miles per gallon (mpg) on the highway and 21 mpg in the city with a combined estimated fuel economy of 25 mpg.

Interior Features

The stylish sedan is spacious providing generous leg and headroom for passengers, a 60/40 split-folding rear seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, cabin particulate air filter, heated and ventilated sport front seats, and driver-seat memory functions.

It’s easy to keep seating comfortable and supportive with a 6-way driver’s seat that can be manually adjusted, and a 4-way manually operated passenger seat. An available option is the 10-way power adjusted driver’s seat with lumbar support, and a 6-way power adjusted passenger seat.

Technology

The sedan is designed with technology, infotainment, and entertainment in mind. There are variety of tech features to ensure drive time is a positive experience. Available features, depending on the trim, include an upgraded 8-inch touch screen display with navigation, steering wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls, 4.2-inch driver configurable LCD display, SYNC 3, voice-activated navigation system, audio and phone voice commands, Bluetooth, adaptive cruise control, push-button start, and keyless ignition and entry.

The Fusion also includes FordPass Connect, which is a convenient feature that can lock or unlock the sedan’s doors, remotely start the car, and check the status of the vehicle.

Entertainment is up-to-date and engaging with a 4-, 6-, 11-. or 12-speaker sound system, satellite radio, USB port, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, MP3 capability, AM/FM stereo with CD player, and SiriusXM radio.

Safety Features

Several safety features will enhance your driving experience. These include the Co-Pilot360 system, which comes with lane keeping assist, forward collision mitigation, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.

Passenger safety includes multiple air bags for the front, second-row side curtain air bags, passenger and driver knee air bag, LATCH system for children, seat belt pretensioners for front and rear seating, and child safety locks, as an additional safety measure.
